Restored to Glory
A fresh new take on classical architecture recaptures the glory days of this once-grand estate in Ross. The original 1906 details on the loosely Italianate façade were retained but the rest of the house was reimagined from the ground up to create a thoroughly modern family home with an old world feel. Filled with light and air, the richly detailed interiors take advantage of the expansive garden views. Doors from the kitchen and family room in the conservatory wing open onto the pool terrace. With its gray limestone walls and antique terra cotta roof, the pool house was designed to feel as if it was an old building unearthed on the property.
